You can push the shifter down and place it into reverse, that's the 7th button you can assign as reverse. Just like most cars
Hope this helps
"SIX-SPEED SHIFTER WITH PUSH-DOWN REVERSE"
http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/driving-force-shifter
Many thanks!
did that ever work for you?
i went through all ranges and spliters in game, and tried a custom one but when i try to change the reverse slot 1 and press down on the shifter it doesnt recongnize it
When you go to re-bind the gears, make sure you start out with the gear in the Neutral position, then press down and into the 6th gear slot.
If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what the problem is. Try unplugging the USB to the computer, then restarting the PC. Update the wheel/pedal/shifter software too might help.
That worked thank you very much.
Didnt know you had to press down and go to the gear while pressing down
I wanted to buy a standard for a new car, and I test drove one that I liked. When it came time to turn around and go home, I decided to U-turn in a farmer's yard. Only I misjudged the turning radius and had to go into reverse to make a three point turn.
Except I couldn't for the life of me get the car to engage in reverse. I ended up having to get out and push the beast backwards myself. Back at the dealership, I explained how I liked the car enough but couldn't get the reverse to work.
"You push the knob down, sir," the salesman explained in the voice salesmen have when they know they've lost a sale not because of anything mis-spoken, but because the customer was dumb as a sack of ♥♥♥♥.
On the other hand, the Thrustmaster shifter has eight gear positions. In Automobilista, I shifted at speed from seventh into reverse, which caused the game pretty realistically to emit the sound of a transmission torqued out beyond repair, and I drifted powerless onto the grass.
