Introduction
The Samsung Jet 60 cordless vacuum combines sleek design with powerful cleaning capabilities, ideal for modern homes. It's known for being lightweight, making it easy to handle and manoeuvre around furniture and tight spaces. With a focus on efficient performance across various floor types, this model is equipped with various attachments to tackle different cleaning challenges, ensuring a thorough clean every time.
Let's jump into the review.
Performance
The Samsung Jet 60 cordless impresses with its performance, offering powerful suction that effectively removes dirt and debris across various floor types. Its ability to switch between different surfaces seamlessly, coupled with a range of attachments, ensures that whether you're dealing with hardwood floors or carpet, the Jet 60 can tackle the job efficiently. This performance, combined with its lightweight design, makes it an excellent choice for those seeking a vacuum that doesn't compromise on cleaning ability despite its cordless convenience.
During our review we test the Jet 60 across 3 floor types:
-
Hard floor (textured stone)
-
Short-medium pile carpet
-
Thick rug
In our tests it performed brilliantly on both the hard floor and normal carpet. On the thick rug it did struggle to pick up some of the debris we dropped, but this isn't uncommon. Overall the Samsung performed just as well as more expensive vacuums.

If you're looking for improved performance the natural place to look would be our Samsung Jet 75 review .
Design and Features
The Jet 60's design is a blend of aesthetics and functionality, emphasizing convenience without sacrificing power. Its sleek form factor is complemented by a range of features including a digital display for battery life and performance monitoring , easily interchangeable attachments for versatile cleaning, and an ergonomic handle for comfortable use.
The vacuum's lightweight build enhances its maneuverability, allowing users to clean with ease across different areas of their home.

The overall design is similar to most cordless vacuums, with the motor, battery and dust bin at the top of the unit closest to you, with a long neck attached to the brush head.
Weight
One of the standout features of the Jet 60 is its weight. It strikes a balance between being lightweight enough for easy maneuverability and substantial enough to feel sturdy and durable during use. This thoughtful design ensures that users can comfortably carry and use the vacuum throughout their home, even when cleaning high-up or hard-to-reach areas.
We say this on most reviews, but something to be mindful of with cordless vacuums and the weight is how much force is placed on the carpet. Light vacuums almost glide on top of the carpet, and while they makes it easier to vacuum the room it doesn't necessarily leave it cleaner. Heavier vacuums naturally push themselves into the carpet, dislodging debris more easily. Finding the balance between the two is key, and the right choice is really down to your specific circumstances.
Battery Life
The battery life of the Jet 60 is commendable, offering extended cleaning sessions on a single charge. It's designed to last long enough to cover most homes without the need for a mid-clean recharge. A single charge on the lowest power mode will last around 40 minutes, which is what Samsung advertise.

However, the reality of it is that you'll be using higher power mode from time to time. In our tests the battery tended to last about 20-30 minutes, depending on how often you use high-power mode. This is obviously dependent upon your own home.
The Jet 60 has a removable battery, so if you're looking to cover a longer run time then you can always buy a second battery to swap out mid-clean.
