Upgrading 7470 battery from 3 cell to 5 cell
Hello, my Latitude 7470 battery (type 7CJRC) needs replacement (very short life and swollen). Can I replace it with a 4 cell (J60J5) to get longer life?

Yes, the J60J5 4-cell battery should fit, according to parts-people.com (Dell parts).

What makes me hesitate is that voltages are different, not just number of cells and watts/hours:7CJRC is 11,4 V and J60J5 is 7,6V

Oscar118,
The J60J5 will work, per the Parts People . They also list its voltage as 7.6 (the 3 -cell 7CJRC is listed at 11.4 V); I believe the mother board makes the adjustment with the voltage for the laptop.
