Corsair sent me the new 34-inch ultrawide monitor, of course with the request that I take a look at it. The Corsair Xeneon 34WQHD240-C QD-OLED, everything you need to know is in the name. Screen diagonal 34″, resolution WQHD 3440 x 1440p, refresh rate 240 Hz and the C = Curved. However, when I saw the price of 1,350 euros, all the batteries flew out of my pacemaker! So today we’re going to embark on an interesting quest to find out to what extent the extra price of around €660 compared to my Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 (34 inch) might be justified.
This is the first packaging that consists purely of cardboard, which is very commendable. The packaging is quite sturdy, as I am not the first person to unpack this monitor. As nice as the packaging is, it in no way explains the extra charge!

Technical data
Apart from the 240 Hz refresh rate and the G-Sync Compatible certificate, the 34WQHD240-C doesn’t really differ from my Samsung Odyssey OLED G8. Let’s take a look at the ergonomics, the workmanship and the OSD before I unleash my measuring devices on the panel.
