Mod includes removing the spring and replacing it with a hard material. It makes the shift clunky and hard rather than making it hard. Mechanically also do not recommend doing this to your shift. But that might be only me. People seem to like this.

I used a YouTube video of someone doing the same upgrade but with a different brand. Go with this one because even in the video I watched mine has a much more satisfying click. If you are tired of not being sure when you are in gear get this. There is an audible (ok for night) click and a feel that gives you confidence. Buy it

It has no feedback with this installed. I switched to using the original spring with a spacer and that works much better than this junk. Very expensive for less than 1 cent worth of hard plastic.
