    I got the M650L to replace an M510 mouse. I liked the M510 because it was a large mouse which I needed to fit my hand and it had nice tactical feedback on all the buttons and the wheel. It's only drawback was that it used up a USB-A port on my laptop and I sorely needed to free up a port. On top of that, the USB dongle would catch on my computer bag when I packed it for travel. My goal was to find a Bluetooth version of the M510. The M650L was a breeze to set up. It was identical in size to my M510 and paired to my laptop's Bluetooth with no issues at all. As a bonus, it also comes with a USB dongle if you have a non-Bluetooth device. I really like how you can customize the buttons to individual programs via the Logi Options+ software. I mainly set mine to be Page Up and Page Down for the two side buttons and have the wheel button maximize whatever window I'm in. At first, I was hugely disappointed that the wheel button did not tilt side-to-side for horizontal scrolling. To scroll horizontally on this M650L, you need to hold down either of the side buttons and just roll the wheel. I think I'm going to actually prefer it once I get used to it as it was always too easy to do the wrong action with the M510's tilt wheel. The M650L only has one battery compared to the M510's two batteries so it's a bit lighter which I personally consider to be a con rather than a pro but I'm sure it'll be fine anyway. My only real complaint is the "quiet" feature. Yes -- it's right in the description so I have no right to complain about it but there's almost zero feedback on the buttons or the wheel. My M510 left no question in my mind about whether I clicked it or scrolled the wheel as it would give an unmistakable tactical feel. This M650L has next to no feedback to my fingers. Did I click it or not? Was it a double click like I intended or just a single? Did I zoom the wheel in AutoCAD or is my screen glitching? Perhaps I'll grow to like it but, for now, it's a star off because it's not the dream-come-true mouse I was hoping for -- but it's close!

      This mouse (M650L) fits my hand perfectly. I love the Bluetooth connection (no dongle at all hanging off my laptop computer - but it comes with a dongle if you really want wireless USB connection). This should be the standard bearer for all mice. Note there is a smaller size and a larger size of the same model. I tried the smaller size (M650) first and it made my medium-sized hand cramp. Then I ordered this larger size of the same model (M650L, the “L” stands for Large). People with very small hands might like the smaller size of the same model. I later got another one of the large size for my college age son (with medium size hands) for a gift. He liked it so much he actually made a special phone call just to me to thank me for it(!). He also went on and on about how comfortable the M650L mouse felt in his hand. I gave the smaller M650 to my wife (very small hands) and she likes that size. Works great. Batteries have lasted over a year with every day use. I love it! Note there are about six or so different colors from which to choose. This is a right-handed mouse. There is a left-handed version available in the large size. I don’t know if there is a left handed version of the small size or not… This is the only mouse I ever want to use in the future!

      Wow, this mouse is great! I just got it, so I can't speak to longevity. I got this to replace a Logi vertical mouse that was causing issues with my thumb. I thought that mouse was quiet, but it isn't compared to this one! You can barely hear the mouse clicking. You can also barely feel it clicking. The wheel is smooth and quiet as well. The back and forward buttons are louder but not obnoxious. It was a pleasant surprise that it came with a battery in it. I guess I hadn't read the description thoroughly, so I didn't realize it was included.

      I bought this to replace my M510, which I've been using pretty much since they came out. Every and then buying a new one.
      Importantly, the M650 immediately seems to have fixed (at least so far) the issue I've recently been having where left clicking even with a recently opened M510 has been losing and (sometimes) regaining click hold without my lifting of the button at all. With the effect that items I click and drag sometimes didn't make it where I want them to go, or even worse, were dropped in the wrong place and another item (such as a folder) was grabbed and moved to a second wrong place.
      I really like the overall feel of the M650L. It is sized and shaped so close to the 510 that it fits my hand just as well. I've also really quickly gotten used to how much lighter it is, which is a clear advantage but definitely made it feel different at first. I also like the feel of the side and top buttons, as well as the wheel.
      (Edit - Updated from to 4 stars) The reason for the low initial star rating was that I truly hate the new ridged side grips. I quite literally despise them. They are much to big/high, giving horrible tactile feel. Basically making my fingertips feel like I'd been in the water all day, but worse. I never had an issue with losing grip on the m510 style grips with there scattered light indents, so I still can't understand the reason for the extreme change. I was able to sand the ridges down not quite all the way, and having used it for a while now it is quite comfortable, so the quality of the device now comes to the front.
      I do wish that Logitech (or Logi, whatever) would either make a second set of models with a side grip style more similar to the M510, or sell alternate/replacement side grips in that style that as an accessory option. I'd happily pay for them.
      This would be a 5 star review if it weren't for the grips feeling so awful to me. But the mouse itself is great.

O segundo é que pra quem tem a pegada claw como eu, o emborrachado acabou não segurando é começou a se deformar (possível ver na segunda foto), mas mesmo assim ambos os problemas são estéticos até então, pois mesmo com o emborrachado deformando, ainda não atrapalhou meu uso.
      Em resumo, esse mouse tem um ótimo custo benefício (na época comprei por R$125) e só penso em trocar futuramente em caso de defeito, já que ele me atende muito bem.

      Was looking to replace an older Logitech Bluetooth rechargeable mouse that started to lose it's ability to hold a charge after many years of use. Decided to replace it with a battery-powered Bluetooth mouse that would hopefully give me at least a year of use on a fresh Duracell. Also wasn't looking to spend a lot of money on the purchase.

      To that end, I settled on a Bluetooth mouse by Tecknet, sold here on Amazon.ca. It had the features I was looking for, essentially Bluetooth and battery-powered, with side buttons for back/forward web-page navigating. It cost $19.99 and the reviews were largely favourable, so I purchased it.

      On receipt, it felt very light-weight and looked and felt like cheapy plastic -- but the real test was it's performance, or lack of it. As the title of this review states, you really do get what you pay for, and this one didn't cost much. The clicks were loud. The on-screen cursor was erratic and sticky, all-in-all difficult to control despite my having cycled through the dpi settings repeatedly, and despite having played with the system's mouse settings (current Windows version), hoping for a fix. This erratic and sticky cursor issue emerged after using the mouse for only a handful of days on a proper mouse surface. Equally troubling was a problem with the mouse entering "sleep mode" whenever idle for more than a few minutes. That would not have been an issue at all if it woke up upon movement, but it never did. Instead, each time I had to press the Bluetooth connection button on the underside of the mouse to re-establish contact with the PC. That Tecknet mouse was simply not usable so I packaged it up and returned it to Amazon.

      I had never had such issues, indeed any issues, with Logitech products (other than losing the ability to hold a charge over time). So, I purchased the battery-powered Bluetooth/USB Logitech M650 L in Ferrari "red" at $39.99. Well...what a difference 20 bucks makes. This Logitech is rock-solid -- the materials and build skate circles around the Tecknet mouse -- and the clicks are virtually silent. The ‘smart’ mouse wheel spins smooth as silk, the side buttons are well positioned, and the feel of the mouse — meaning its weight, texture and contours — under the palm of the hand is ergonomically delicious. The cursor reacts on-screen exactly as intended...doesn't skip a beat and lands precisely where directed. And, the battery life is stated as 2 full years (which likely assumes that you slide the underside power switch to 'off', as I always do, whenever the PC is shut down). A nice bonus is that a fresh Duracell battery is included with the mouse, and the unit is both Bluetooth and USB compatible (a USB dongle is located inside the battery compartment).

      This Logitech M650 L costs a little more than the Tecknet mouse, but feels and performs like it's 5 times the cost. Worth every penny of the difference.

      BTW, I opted for the "L" model (as in M650 "L", which stands for....you guessed it, "Large"), and is supposedly designed for a larger hand. My hands are average-size male hands, about 18 cm's from tip of middle finger to base of palm, and the "L" model is a perfect, comfortable fit. I therefore think the standard size M650 (without the "L" after the model number) might be a little too compact for my mousing hand. I wasn't certain about going with the “L” model when I ordered the mouse, but I'm glad I did.

      Bought this to replace a wired usb mouse so I could free up a port. After purchasing wished I'd bought the larger version but when received it it's about the same size as my current one. Feels very comfortable in the hand. Instruction leaflet is only in Chinese. I have a slightly complicated setup running kubuntu on my laptop and streaming games from my gaming windows laptop over wireless (sunshine/moonlight (Nvidia shield)). The mouse has a button on the bottom to connect to Bluetooth and connected to kubuntu without problems and works faultlessly over moonlight. I run virtual machines on kubuntu using KVM/vmm and this also works without any further setup or issues. I use a plain hardback book as a mouse mat and the the optics are smooth and precise. Tested by playing a round of golf streamed from the gaming laptop. The mouse clicks are soft, virtually silent and precise and I never accidentally clicked. Ended 3 under in windy conditions which is about normal :) I haven't tried the wireless nano usb dongle yet but love the way it's stored in the mouse so won't be misslaid should I ever need it. Recommended.
