Galaxy S24This is my fourth Samsung Galaxy device. I have never experienced an issue as confounding as this.
Specs:
Notes/symptoms:
Things I have tried:
Grievances:
I am now attempting to wirelessly send half-a-terabyte of phone data to the "cloud" as the kids call it lol! Expecting that to take some 24 hours. Then I will perform a factory reset since it's the only thing else I can think of to try. Please help. Please don't make me send my phone to fix this.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Galaxy S24Well something definitely changed in my case. My S24 Ultra was connecting just fine for other devices, until it suddenly ceased to do so. As far as an external drive workaround--unfortunately, nope. I connected an external 4TB SSD formatted as exFAT--although I am not certain if this is the correct format--and that is not detected. Although, I had never tried this when the phone was working normally so I cannot ascertain whether this is symptomatic of the problem.
I am preparing to factory reset now. I will report back the result.

Galaxy S24Update: Factory reset did NOT fix the problem. Arghh!
I found this post in the Android support forum where FIFTEEN other individuals have reported the same or a similar issue with the S24 Ultra:

What to do now... š
