Snowball77 Posted March 25 Posted March 25 I bought one used but labeled as good as new from Amazon after my killer USB port burned my T.16000m. This joystick is in the same price range, the base is solid, I also like the throttle, however the stick feels like ultra cheap garbage plastic, but the worst part is that it came with a noticeable loose wobble Z axis, so the rudder is unusable and now after just 20 days of use the Y axis start to feel wobble as well. I also found on the internet that this is a common issue, I bought it used but some people bought it new with an already loose stick, I don't know why everybody praise this joystick as good entry level when it's 10000 times worse than the Thrustmaster which costs basically the same. I also don't know how people manage to make this last years when it's made of cheap garbage, mine already starting to give up after 20 days. What a joke. Why doesn't anybody make quality stuff anymore? Idk you but to me 60€ which they charge for the new product are quite a lot of money, this stick feels like a 20€ product, which probably was at the beginning. Sorry for the rant, I already ordered a new T.16000000000..m or whatever it's called
356thFS_Drewm3i-VR Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Yes it is--why do you think it's still like $35? The T16000m is pretty good, but it's a joke compared to my VKB Gladiator NXT Evo with the K-12 (WWII) grip and WWII VKB HOTAS.

Rest assured they do, it just costs a lot more than the stuff that isn't. 3 hours ago, Snowball77 said: I already ordered a new T.16000000000..m Unless things have changed, that stick has an unhelpful, unremoveable deadzone on the centre of the rudder axis, so you'll be wanting a serious rudder controller without Thrustmaster written on it. As for the 3d Pro, just configure it as a button box to use with your left hand; it'll be in it's element there.
Snowball77 Posted March 26 Author Posted March 26 My computer had an usb port that burned everything i plugged in, it burned me a pen drive, an e-cig and a joystick before I figured it out Anyway they charge 60 euros for the 3d pro in europe, basically the same price as the thustmaster which is leagues better, i know the t16000m is not as good as the vkb but for the price is the best bang for the buck HANDS DOWN. I received it today, it's solid and super precise, it's a night and day difference really. The unremovable deadzone is not particurarly annoying, the deadzone on the 3d pro on the contrary is MASSIVE, it came "new" with a loose wobble stick, I just payed 37 euros for it but i felt scammed lol
Aapje Posted March 27 Posted March 27 I would suggest getting at least the Winwing Ursa Minor Fighter stick, if possible. That is a lot better quality and more durable than these sticks. It will be about 100 euros plus shipping.

I used the TM t16000m for years and it is the most precise low dollar stick out there. Don't know what they cost now but 49$ was my last purchase of it. Still have one and gave my backup to a friend and he uses it now. I now use the VKB GFIII with 20mm extension and you would have to fight me for it to pry out of my hands. Of course it runs a cool 450$. You get what you pay for, but the TF T16000M is an exception to that rule if the quality is still the same as when I used it. The Winwings have a center deadspot like the Saitek X52 did back in the day. The last place you want a dead spot is the center of the joystick throw. I used Saitek X52 for many years, so I know first hand.FWIW, my 2¢. S!Blade<><

=MERCS=JenkemJunkie Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Nyogel 767a is a good thing to be aware of with the t16000m. It's basically the greatest non-sexual lube ever (so 1 billionth overall) and will help make the joystick smoother by damping the movement. Works really good on the TWCS throttle too. I use it on expensive stuff too like the VKB gunfighter. https://www.edcplus.com/product/nyogel-767a-synthetic-damping-grease-lubricant-50g/
Aapje Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Yeah, unfortunately it can be hard to get outside of the US. It has the special property that it provides equal resistance no matter how small the movement is that you make, so it doesn't create high resistance when doing small movements (stiction).
=MERCS=JenkemJunkie Posted March 28 Posted March 28 The shipping sucks. I don't think I've ever seen it sell for less than double what that link charges, but the shipping ends up costing more than the thing itself.
