Kyle was born and raised in Saint Peter’s, MO, in 1991. His childhood was filled with friends, family, summer vacations, playing baseball, and occasionally getting into trouble while skateboarding. After graduating from Southeast Missouri State, Kyle moved to Saint Charles to be closer to work.

Laura is originally from La Dorada, Caldas, Colombia—a small town where she enjoyed a childhood filled with family gatherings, bike rides with her cousins, and thrilling motorcycle trips with friends. She graduated from Santo Tomas University in Bogotá with a degree in International Business and has since expanded her expertise by earning additional degrees in Logistics and Manufacturing in the United States. In 2020, she embarked on a cultural journey as an Au Pair, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in her life in the U.S.

Laura and Kyle met through Hinge and decided to have their first date at Schlafly’s on Main Street. From the moment Laura walked around the corner and into Kyle’s view, he knew she was special. That same night, he texted a close friend saying he had found the woman he was going to marry. Laura, too, felt a connection—since seeing Kyle's profile, she thought he was special, and after meeting him, she knew he was the love of her life.

Since that first meeting, Kyle and Laura have shared a love for travel, home cooking, spending time with family, taking their dog Moose for walks, and, most importantly, having wonderfully long conversations.

Last year, Kyle invited Laura to an ice-sculpting event on Main Street in Saint Charles, where they first met. At the exact spot they saw each other for the first time, Kyle dropped to one knee and proposed. The evening continued with dinner at the same place as their first date, where Laura's sister Ana had organized a surprise celebratory party.

Laura and Kyle are honored to have you at their wedding. They are thrilled to celebrate this special day with dancing, delicious food, and lots of joy. They look forward to sharing this unforgettable evening with each and every one of you.
